The Experience of a Lifetime

If you're a horse rider, an alpine skier, or a snowboarder, Skijor Skowhegan is the experience of a lifetime. Slated for February 24, 2024 at the Skowhegan Fairgrounds, it's the only equestrian skijoring team time-trial race in New England. A horse and rider will pull an alpine skier or snowboarder—at speeds up to 30 mph—through a 1,000-foot course with jumps and gates.

Competitor registration.

Team registration only. Riders must be 14+ years of age, and skiers/snowboarders must be 10+ years of age. Visit the registration link for more information!

There are two divisions, Pro and Novice. The Novice division does not require the skier/snowboarder to hit the jumps. Please read the full rules and regulations for registration limitations.

Registration fees are nonrefundable.
